Founded in October 2012, Northwest Insurance Professionals, LLC is a locally owned independent insurance agency based in Spokane, Washington. Managed and operated by McKinley A. Romero, we’ve built our reputation on putting people first—making insurance understandable, affordable, and tailored to each client’s life.
For over a decade, our goal has been simple: help our neighbors in Spokane and the surrounding area protect their health, their families, and their futures—without the confusion. We believe in clear advice, transparent pricing, and coverage that fits, not forces.

Based in Spokane, we are a fully independent agency—this means we compare plans from many carriers so you don’t have to settle for the first option. Our ownership is local, and our commitment is personal: transparent pricing, expert advice, and service that adapts as your life changes. Whether you’re turning 65, planning for your family’s future, or looking for supplemental coverage, our aim is to empower you with clarity and confidence.
Victoria Collier serves as the assistant at Northwest Insurance Professionals, helping clients feel comfortable and confident as they navigate Medicare, health, and life insurance decisions. In addition to her work with NWIP, Victoria is the founder of NewLeaf Accounting, where she has built a reputation for organization, clarity, and client‑focused communication. She brings that same level of care and precision to NWIP – supporting scheduling, communication, application preparation, and guiding clients through each step of the process. She helps connect clients with plans from multiple carriers, always prioritizing transparency, simplicity, and real support so clients can focus on what matters most.
